Yakiniku Hiroshi

Yakiniku Hiroshi
339 Royal Hawaiian Ave
Honolulu, HI 96815

Yakiniku Hiroshi is currently my favorite restaurant in Waikiki. How we ended up here was pretty funny. You would think that our last night in Hawai'i we would have had made reservations at some kind of restaurant but we didn't so we Yelped around for restaurants that didn't require reservations and had pretty good reviews so we ended up here. The meat was insanely good (the kalbi was my favorite). Wasn't a fan of beef tongue (then again, I'm not THAT adventurous when it comes to food.... I mean it took me awhile to eat a kumquat haha). It's pretty pricey here; you pay a certain amount for a certain amount of meat but overall, I believe it's worth it! So good!

Ippudo NY

Ippudo NY
65 4th Ave
New York, NY 10003

One of my favorite places to eat in NY is at Ippudo NY. We always make a stop there whenever we are in NY and I swear its because of only one thing: the Hirata Buns! These delicious hirata buns are pork buns that I swear is the best thing on their menu. That says a lot coming from me since I'm not a fan of pork buns.... at all and I'm a huge ran of ramen. During our recent trip to NY, my boyfriend and I shared ramen instead of each having our own bowl. Why? Because all I really wanted to eat were these buns. They're $9 for two! If you're ever in NY, I highly recommend trying the hirata buns. If you're not convinced, check Yelp!

Alan Wong 's Restaurant

1857 S King St
Honolulu, Hawaii 96826

If there is one thing I love more than traveling, it's probably eating while traveling. Same goes for my boyfriend. When we were in Hawai'i last August, it was imperative that we dine at Alan Wong's Restaurant since we'v been wanting to try this place for sooooo long! And it doesn't hurt that President Obama dines there when he's in town!

Everything on the menu was delicious. The fact that my boyfriend is allergic to seafood made it just a tad bit difficult but it still worked out for him. My absolute favorite was "The (Da) Coconut." Haupia (coconut) sorbet with a dark chocolate shell with shredded coconut, fruits, and passion fruit sauce. So good!
